GirlHacker's Random Log

The International Children’s Digital Library contains 200 books selected by children and scanned in for digital reading. It was created by The Digital Archive and the HCI Lab at the University of Maryland. The software that displays the books is a key component of the project. Children will probably accept reading books on a computer display, but they may enjoy having an actual book instead. The interface was designed to be kid-friendly and universally accessible.
